Bob Stevens

Mr. Stevens graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management. He has been active in the energy business for 39 years. Prior to co-founding Stevens & Tull, Inc. (“S&T Inc.”), an oil and gas operating company in 1984, he served as a landman for Champlin Petroleum Company, Phillips Petroleum Company and Land Manager for Delta Drilling Company. In 1997 Windrock Capital, Ltd. (“Windrock”) assisted Messrs. Stevens and Tull in connection with the creation of Stevens & Tull Development, LTD. (“S&T LTD”). S&T LTD was created as a vehicle to roll up the interests of numerous partners of S&T Inc. and allow S&T LTD and their related entities to effectively market their oil & gas properties. The venture with Windrock was successful in obtaining approximately $65 million worth of property sales in 1998 & 1999. Since that time, S&T LTD has continued as an oil & gas entity raising capital for various exploration projects.

Doug Tull

Mr. Tull attended Texas Tech University.  He has been an independent energy entrepreneur for over 39 years.  Prior to co-founding S&T Inc., he served as an independent landman for 4 years.  At S&T Inc. Mr. Tull served as vice president and secretary/treasure where he managed the day-to-day financial operations and capital fundraising for the company.  Subsequent to the production sale by S&T LTD in 1998 and 1999, he and his wife, Marcy co-founded Rock The Desert in 2000.  Rock The Desert held its first Christian music festival in 2000.  This ministry in sixteen years has become the fourth largest annual festival held in the United States with over 45,000 people attending each year. Rock The Desert in 2003 purchased 250 acres of land between Midland and Odessa, Texas.  

 

CONTRACT LANDMEN

Justin Stevens

Mr. Stevens grew up in Midland, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he graduated in 2007 with a BFA in Graphic Design and received his Masters Degree from The University of Tulsa in Energy Business in 2018. Justin was on the UTA baseball team in 2006 when they won the Southland Conference Tournament. He has been an independent landman and energy entrepreneur since 2007. Justin has worked in the state of Texas within the Permian Basin, Barnett Shale and Eagle Ford Shale, and New Mexico. Justin started doing work exclusively for Stevens & Tull in September of 2016. He now lives in Midland, Texas with his wife Katie & two children.

 

Chris Ryan

Mr. Ryan grew up in Fort Worth and attended The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated in 2013 with a BA in Geography and a Business Foundations Certificate. Chris was on the UT baseball team in 2010 when they won the Big 12 title. He moved to Midland after graduating, first working for C&J Energy Services as a wireline operator then for Apache Corporation as a landman for 2 years and has now been working exclusively for Stevens and Tull since September 2016. Chris serves on the advisory counsel for Stewards of the Wild (Midland) and is an active member in AAPL and PBLA. Chris lives in Midland, Texas with his wife, Michelle and two daughters.
